Used photo ref a bit more literally than usually, stylisation experiment very inspired by the one and only Kevin Dart.
Long canal with singular fountain called the Mönch (monk) at Schloss Ludwigslust, which was built for Herzog Friedrich von Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 1772 to 1776. The castle and gardens form the centerpiece of a remarkable late baroque urban plan for Ludwigslust. The gardens were later re-designed in the English landscape style, but retain all the notable features of the baroque layout, including mile-long canals and cascades, and numerous temples, ruins, and mausolea, making it one of the most interesting layouts of Northern Germany.
